MOER Lighting is a lighting supplier and sourcing partner for hospitality projects, coordinating suitable production resources across multiple lighting categories. Working as a custom lighting supplier across categories, one contact covers specification review, sample development, production follow-up and QC communication.
From a reference image, drawing or specification to sample approval and production, we help overseas buyers develop and coordinate custom hotel lighting for guestrooms, public areas and hospitality projects.
Who we work with: hotel owners, developers, hospitality procurement companies, interior designers, purchasing agents and lighting distributors. MOER Lighting works as a hotel lighting supplier and sourcing partner across North America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and other international markets.
Custom Hotel Lighting for Different Hotel Areas
Hotel guestroom lighting, corridor lighting and public-area lighting are usually specified together and need to read as one design language. We develop table lamps, floor lamps, wall sconces, reading lights, pendant lights, ceiling lights, LED mirrors and decorative lighting that can share finishes and light quality within one coordinated hotel lighting package.
Hotel areas we support
Product categories
- Reading lights — adjustable reading lights with a replaceable light source.
- LED mirrors — bathroom mirrors with integrated lighting.
Finishes, materials, dimensions, light sources, switching methods and selected electrical components can be adjusted according to project requirements, subject to technical feasibility. Where an item cannot be changed, we confirm that at the review stage.
From Reference to Production
Custom hospitality lighting is a coordination process, not a catalogue order. This is the sequence we follow.
- 1. Send your reference. A reference photo, drawing, mood board, specification or existing sample.
- 2. Requirement review. Confirm dimensions, materials, finish, light source, voltage and quantity.
- 3. Technical and supplier evaluation. Assess feasibility and select suitable production resources.
- 4. Quotation. Based on the confirmed specification, quantity and scope of customization.
- 5. Sample development. A sample or pre-production sample where the item is not standard.
- 6. Sample confirmation. Confirm appearance, colour, dimensions, lighting effect and key specifications.
- 7. Production and QC. Production followed against the approved sample, with checks at agreed stages.
- 8. Packing and shipment coordination. Confirm packing and coordinate shipment for the destination.
Sample confirmation before mass production. For customized lighting, the approved sample is what production is measured against — not a render and not a description.
Specifications We Confirm Before Production This pendant family shows how a configurable specification is resolved into a real fixture.
These are the items we work through before a customized order goes into production. The final list depends on the product and the project.
- Dimensions — overall size, shade diameter and height.
- Materials — metal, wood, fabric, glass or ceramic.
- Finish and colour — finish and colour reference, checked on a sample.
- Light source — replaceable bulb, integrated LED or LED module.
- Colour temperature — value and consistency across one room.
- Voltage — voltage and frequency for the destination market.
- Plug and cord requirement — plug type, cord length and outlet position.
- Switch and dimming method — inline, rocker, touch or integrated; dimming where required.
- USB or socket configuration — USB-A, USB-C or power socket modules.
- Mounting method — base, bracket, backplate or suspension details.
- Packing requirement — carton, protection and labelling for transport.
- Quantity — project quantity per item, including spares.
- Certification requirements — reviewed by target market and product structure.
- Spare parts and maintenance — replaceable shades, diffusers and drivers, where feasible.
MOQ and lead time depend on product construction, customization level and project quantity. We confirm both against your requirement rather than publishing a flat figure.
Designed Around Real Project Requirements
Hospitality project lighting is judged on whether the fixtures suit the space, can be produced consistently in batch, are practical to install and can be maintained over the life of the hotel. That changes what we check during development.
- Coordinated finishes. Table lamps, floor lamps, wall sconces and pendants specified to one finish reference, so a room reads as one scheme.
- Guestroom package consistency. Bedside, desk and reading lights in one room treated as a set.
- Project voltage and plug requirements. Electrical configuration matched to the destination market.
- Packaging for international shipment. Packing confirmed for the transport method.
- Replaceable parts and maintenance planning. Lamps, drivers and diffusers specified so they can be replaced without replacing the fixture, with spare parts identified at specification stage.
- Repeat-order and batch consistency. Finish and component records kept so a second order matches the first, checked against the approved sample.
Have a Reference Image or Existing Design?
Many projects start with a Pinterest image, a designer rendering, an existing fixture, a drawing or a mood board. Send the reference and we review structure, material, finish, size, electrical requirements, feasibility, tooling and sample cost before quoting.
A reference image is a starting point. Final production is based on confirmed specifications and, where required, an approved sample. Where a design cannot be reproduced exactly, we say so and propose the closest workable alternative.
Sample Confirmation Before Mass Production
For customized lighting, visual appearance alone is not enough. A screen image cannot show how a finish reads under a real light source. Key items may need to be confirmed through samples: finish, colour, dimensions, material, lighting effect, switch position, USB or socket configuration, mounting details and packaging.
Mass production starts after the key details are confirmed according to the agreed project process. Where a sample is not practical for an item, the alternative confirmation method is agreed in advance.
QC for Project Lighting
Quality control for project lighting is mostly about consistency and communication. Checks are applied where relevant: incoming material, appearance against the approved sample, dimensions, finish consistency, electrical function, lighting test, assembly and packing. Production photos or videos are shared where appropriate.
Certification requirements can be reviewed according to the target market, product structure and project specification.
Experience Across International Lighting Projects
The summaries below describe the type of work involved. Client and hotel names, project values and supplier details are not published.
U.S. Hospitality Project
A guestroom package needed desk lamps, floor lamps and bedside lighting in one project-specific finish, with charging functions. MOER coordinated the three fixture types to a single finish reference and confirmed switch, cord and USB details on samples — so the room reads as one scheme.
Middle East Decorative Lighting Project
Custom decorative fixtures combining ceramic, metal and glass components were required. MOER coordinated component sourcing and finish development and confirmed colour and finish on an approved sample, addressing batch-to-batch variation between materials.
Southeast Asia Projects
Commercial and hospitality requirements needed several lighting categories sourced and aligned to one specification. MOER coordinated supplier selection and specification alignment, addressing inconsistent finishes and mismatched specifications across suppliers.
Why Work With MOER Lighting
As a hospitality lighting supplier and sourcing partner, MOER Lighting coordinates projects involving several fixture types, several finishes and a fixed opening date.
- Flexible sourcing. Not limited to one production category or one factory, so the route suits the structure, material and finish needed.
- Project coordination. One contact for specifications, samples, production follow-up and shipment coordination.
- Sample-first approach. Key details confirmed on a sample before mass production, so what gets produced is what was approved.
- Small and flexible project support. Suited to customized hospitality projects where flexibility matters more than volume; no standard MOQ applies.
- QC communication. Production and quality issues are followed through and reported, not passed on as factory information.
- International B2B experience. Experience with overseas buyers across North America, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you develop hotel lighting from a reference image?
Yes. A reference image, rendering, drawing or existing sample is enough to start. We review structure, material, finish, size and electrical requirements, then list what still needs confirmation. Where a design cannot be matched exactly, we say so before quotation.
Can different lamps be made with the same finish?
In most cases yes, which is why buyers group a guestroom package with one supplier. Finish consistency is confirmed on a sample, because the same finish reference reads differently on metal, wood, ceramic and fabric.
Do you provide samples before mass production?
For customized items, yes. Where construction, finish or function is not standard, a sample or pre-production sample is produced for confirmation before mass production. Sample cost and timing are quoted with the project.
Can you customize voltage, plug, USB or socket configurations?
Yes. Voltage, plug type, cord length and USB or socket modules are specified against the destination market and the design. Availability depends on the fixture structure and the components that fit inside it.
What information do you need for a quotation?
A reference image or drawing, dimensions, material and finish, light source and colour temperature, voltage and plug requirement, quantity per item, and any certification or packing requirements. Where information is missing, we list what still needs confirmation.
Do you support small or medium hospitality projects?
Yes. Much of our work is customized hospitality and commercial projects rather than large single-order volume. The workable minimum depends on the product construction and customization involved, so it is confirmed against your specific items.
Can you help source multiple lighting categories for one project?
Yes. We coordinate table lamps, floor lamps, wall sconces, reading lights, pendant lights, ceiling lights, LED mirrors and decorative lighting, developed as one package or sourced to match an existing specification.
How do you handle quality control?
Checks are applied where relevant: incoming material, appearance against the approved sample, dimensions, finish consistency, electrical function, lighting test, assembly and packing. Production photos or videos are shared where useful.
